Which do you think is the most accurate, pithy word for what is known as "sadomasochism"?

a) sadofascism (Nikki Craft came up with it)

b) sadopatriachy

c) sadoslavery

d) eroticized hatred

e) worshipping slavery

f) or other ____________

i think a-c are my faves; b or c would probably be words i'd use. i actually think i'll stop using nikki's term...although her's is very astute and funny, the other two seem more accurate.

Personally, I don't think we need new terms: "sadism" or "masochism" are derisive enough. De Sade and Sacher-Masoch weren't actually about the "safe, sane, and consensual" happy-sexy-leather-time that the sadist crowd wants you to believe in these days.

"Sexual sadism" makes it pretty explicit what the feminist objection is.
